This year in my Reading class we have been reading A Paradise Called Texas,and Willow Creek Home.In the story, there is a little girl named Mina.In Paradise Called Texas,Mina and her family is going to Texas to buy land.Before they go to Texas,they lived in a small home in Germany.On the way to Texas,Mina’s mom dies.Also,Baby Elizibith dies.It was a sad time for Mina,but she kept hope.Hope was all she could pray for.She never stopped praying.She believed with all her heart that God would help her.My favorite part about the first book is that she never gave up.In Willow Creek Home,Papa found a new wife.Her name is Tante Lisette.Very soon Mina has a brother named Peter.Peter is like Mina’s step brother.There are indians in Willow Creek that Mina’s family met.They kept Mina’s family safe.Those were not the only indians.There were mean indians that almost killed Mina.The only thing that soved her was her horse,Tucan.These are good books.You should read them too.
